The Nigeria newly sworn-in President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has scrapped fuel subsidy with Presidential fiat.
Tinubu who gave the order while delivering his first address to Nigerians at the Eagles Square in Abuja, on Monday, stated that it is no longer sustainable.
His words:”On fuel subsidy, the budget I met before I assumed office and what I heard is that there is no provision for subsidy.
“Fuel subsidy is gone”.
