The Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, is withdrawing the Higher National Diploma Certificate of AbdulRasheed Zubair Olatunji for his alleged involvement in cultism, in contravention of his matriculation oath.
The Deputy Registrar, Mr. Olayemi Olatomi, issued a statement on Monday which reads: “AbdulRasheed’s involvement in cultism is a pointer to the fact that he is not worthy in character and learning to earn the certificate of the institution”.
The statement disclosed that the decision was based on the report of the Polytechnic’s Students’ Disciplinary Committee.
The statement further disclosed that the mobilisation of AbdulRasheed to the mandatory National Youth Service Corps was also put on hold.
