Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo arrived in Minna, Niger State Capital on Sunday evening for a significant meeting with former military leaders.
Upon his arrival, Obasanjo headed straight to the hilltop residence of former Military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida.
Sources disclosed that waiting to meet him were former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar and former National Security Adviser General Aliyu Gusau. This high-profile gathering has sparked interest, though the details of their discussions remain undisclosed.
Sources hinted that Obasanjo arrived Minna at about 4.15pm aboard a chartered aircraft from Benin City where he had gone to facilitate with the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, on his 90th birthday.
The meeting might not be unconnected with pressing national issues that bordered on the current economic challenges.

It was earlier reported that Obasanjo recently joined the rest of top leaders to commission Fan Milk’s yoghurt product line in Ibadan, Oyo State where he acknowledged the brand’s dedication to producing high quality product, noted that the facility attests t to the company’s unwavering commitment to quality, growth, and the well-being of its consumers.
He said the investment speaks to the critical importance of the manufacturing sector to the national economy.
He said jobs will be created, local economies stimulated, and significant contribution to the country’s GDP.
