Davido donates N237m to Orphanages, Foundations

Renowned Afro-Pop Star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has donated the sum of N237 million to 424 Orphanages and Paroche Reach Out Foundation for the prevention of drug abuse nationwide.

A Press Statement disclosed that the donation made through Davido Charity Foundation for Orphanages was in fulfillment of the promise made on his 2022 birthday.

The donation represents his 2022 Annual Davido Birthday Gifts to Orphanages.

Credible News recalls that Davido also in 2022 donated N250 miliion to 292 orphanage homes in all the States in Nigeria, including the FCT.

He had asked his friends and colleagues in the industry to donate a million naira each and he received N200 million within hours. Adding N50 million, to make the whole sum N250 million, the Afro pop star donated it to orphanages in Nigeria.

Credible News reports that Davido who is on Timeless Tour is due to stage a live performance at Boston, Massachusetts, United States today.
