Presidents’ Day is celebrated annually on the third Monday of February in the United States to honor the nation’s presidents, both past and present, recognizing their contributions to the country’s history.
Although the embassy and consulate will be closed for routine services, essential services will still be available through emergency contact channels.
However, standard consular services, including visa processing, will be paused for the holiday and will resume the following day.
Nigerians who plan to visit the embassy or consulate for U.S. visas or other consular services are encouraged to make the necessary arrangements ahead of time to account for the closure.
