The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin on Saturday confirmed the arrest of one Benjamin Nnanyereugo for allegedly killing his girlfriend by Sierra Leone Police Force.
Benjamin Nnanyereugo, famously known as ‘Killaboi’ a murder suspect wanted in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion, .
The arrest of Nnanyereugo, who was apprehended at a nightclub in Freetown, comes after the Lagos State Police issued a nationwide manhunt for the murder suspect on October 11.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, revealed that arrangements are currently underway to extradite Nnanyereugo to Nigeria.
The suspect is believed to have committed the crime on July 13, 2023, at his residence in Oral Estate, Ajah, Lagos, resulting in the tragic death of 21-year-old Augusta Osedion.
This arrest marks a crucial breakthrough in the ongoing investigation, and the Sierra Leonean authorities’ cooperation signals a step towards justice for the victim and a significant development in the pursuit of Nnanyereugo.

The suspect is 26 years old, approximately 5’9 ft tall and hails from Abia State. He is dark in complexion and speaks English, Igbo and pidgin English fluently”.
