Three children from Benue went missing, and the Benue Police Command announced on Sunday that a doctor in Rivers State had been arrested.

After a report about the missing children, the Rivers police detained the unnamed medical practitioner.

According to Makurdi command spokesman SP Sewuese Anene, the kids were discovered in the doctor’s care in Rumuokoro.

Anene stated that on September 24, the Command was notified of the disappearance of two of his children by a Mr. Godwin Kpaakpa of Badagry Street, which is next to St. Peters Church Wurukum, Makurdi. Benedict and Philomena are two and six years old, respectively.

She added that the two children and one other were found in the doctor’s hands after an operation, and that the command had started an investigation and issued a signal across the country.

On October 20, word reached us from Rivers Police Command that, during an operation in the Rumuokoro area, they had saved three children from a medical doctor; these appear to be the same children that Benue Command had previously reported.

The two kids were discovered with another child named Godsgift Julius, whose parents have not yet been identified, by a team of detectives dispatched to Rivers State for identification.

“Godsgift has not yet made contact with his family, but Philippa and Benedict have been reunited with theirs.

“Rivers Command is looking into the medical practitioner while efforts are being made to locate his accomplices in Benue,” she added.

The spokesperson for the Command suggested that parents keep an eye on their children’s whereabouts in order to protect them from human traffickers.

In the meantime, contrary to false information circulating on social media, the Benue State Police Command has denied any instances of stolen genital organs in Makurdi, the state capital.

Newsmen in Makurdi were informed by SP Sewuese Anene, the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, that the person who was purportedly the victim of a stolen genital organ had only made a false alarm.

According to Crediblenews, a pastor and a church member are seen in a video that went viral on social media allegedly robbing an unidentified person of their organ at New Layout, Kanshio, Makurdi.

According to Crediblenews, one of the alleged organ thieves is shown in the viral video naked, and the others were severely beaten.

According to Anene, the majority of the victims have continuously been unable to provide evidence that their genital organs were truly missing since the claims of stolen organs went viral in various states around the nation.

According to her, victims typically called in false alarms, and gullible bystanders would attack the alleged thieves without doing any further research.

The PPRO went on to say that she spoke with the two accused thieves at the Makurdi “B” Division Police Station and found them to be innocent, calling their accounts pitiful.

Someone is going to sound the alarm, and some young people who have no idea what happened will start torturing helpless victims. This is deplorable and inhumane.

They claimed that a young man reported a genital organ theft.

In the hopes that the pastor would intervene and save him, the youth grabbed the nearest person and beat him until he confessed and named his pastor as the one who sent him.

“The young people also beat up the same pastor.” When the police learned and saved them, assistance arrived.

.

“This is too bad; there is no element of truth in this. Since the history of these allegations, it has never been proven, and complainants are usually advised that nothing is wrong with them,” she said.

Anene said that efforts were ongoing to arrest those behind the act.
