In a surprising turn of events, chef Damilola Adeparusi, widely known as Chef Dammy, found herself in the spotlight on Thursday, November 23, as she was arrested by operatives of the Police AIG Zone 17 in Akure.

The arrest was made in response to a petition filed against her by a cleric, Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah, also known as Billion Dollars Prophet.

Chef Dammy, who had previously raised concerns about alleged threats and intimidation from individuals she termed “people of God” and her pastor, Billionaire Dollar Prophet, was taken into custody and subsequently interrogated by the police.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson for Zone 17, DSP Hakeem, stated that the police received a written petition against Chef Dammy, leading to her invitation for questioning. The statement released by Zone 17 assured the public that justice would be served without prejudice.

DSP Hakeem explained, “She was then invited for interrogation which she honoured today as she came with a female staff from the office of Her Excellency, the First Lady of Ekiti State. Dammy was later released to her as the investigation will continue.”

Chef Dammy reportedly cooperated with the police during the interrogation and was subsequently granted administrative bail after providing a surety. However, the investigation remains ongoing, and she is expected to report back to Zone 17 for further questioning.

The details of the petition and the nature of the allegations against Chef Dammy have not been disclosed publicly, leaving room for speculation and anticipation as the case unfolds.

The arrest has added a layer of intrigue to the ongoing saga involving Chef Dammy and the cleric, Billionaire Dollar Prophet, and has captured the attention of both fans and the public alike.

As the investigation progresses, more information is expected to emerge regarding the circumstances that led to the arrest and the subsequent legal proceedings.
