Governor Siminalayi Fubara has congratulated his immediate predecessor, Nyesom Wike, on his 56th birthday.
Fubara, in a post on his verified X handle, said he, his wife and the people of the state are felicitating with the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The governor, who is currently in a face-off with Wike over the political crisis rocking the state, prayed to God to grant the former governor joy and happiness in his new age.
“I congratulate my oga, His Excellency, Chief (Dr) Barrister, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, and the most recent governor of Rivers State, on his 56th birthday today, December 13, 2023,” the post says.
“On this day of celebration, your excellency, my dear wife, the good people of Rivers State, and I join your family and friends in wishing you well.”
“We truly hope and pray that you find happiness and joy in your new age.”
