Fireworks factory explosion claims 20 lives in Thailand

No fewer than 20 people have reportedly died in an explosion on Wednesday at a fireworks factory in Thailand.

The explosion according to local report completely destroyed the facility which was located in the middle of a rice field

The accident occurred in the province of Suphan Buri, north-west of the capital Bangkok, according to media reports.

The cause of the accident is unknown as at the time of filing this report.

The newspaper, Khaosod, quoted local residents as saying that around 30 workers were in the factory when the incident happened.
