Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said he is “upset” about reports claiming he will leave the Premier League club in June.
Arteta, speaking to the media on Monday, described it as fake news.
According to him, he still has a lot to do at Arsenal.
The Spaniard spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League tie with Nottingham Forest, on Tuesday.
Reports had emerged over the weekend that the former Manchester City assistant coach would leave the Gunners at the end of the season.
“This fake news about me leaving in June makes me upset. I’m immersed in a beautiful journey with my players, the staff, and our beautiful people,” Arteta was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying.

Arteta led Arsenal to a second-place finish last season.
Arteta’s side currently sits in third place on the Premier League table this season.
