Grammy-nominated Nigeria international Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has finally reacted to his loss at the just concluded awards.

Recall that controversy trailed the Grammy Awards presentation which took place in the United States over the weekend when Nigerian artists were snubbed in their respective categories.

There was an outcry against the organizers of the music awards for nominating Nigerian singers for promotional purposes only.

Reacting to his loss online, Davido took to the X app to declare love for his supporters with a pledge that he will continue to churn out quality music.

“I love each and everyone of you !! We Dey game !! We will continue to deliver …”

Davido’s statement is followed by praises for his exceptional talent. The singer was encouraged with heartwarming words.

Recall that Davido’s hypeman, Special Spesh, had shaded Tyla who won the Best African Music Performance over Davido, Burna Boy, and others.

Spesh took to his Instagram page to use Tyla’s song to throw shade at her, noting how a song about squirting down won over Davido.

Though he might have lost his Grammy win, Davido still has more reasons to be grateful, especially for the nomination.
