The Abuja World Academy has announced its dedication to revolutionizing education with the upcoming grand opening of its state-of-the-art campus scheduled for September 2024.
Mr. Joe Daly, the Head of School at Abuja World Academy, revealed this information in a statement provided to journalists in Abuja on Monday. He emphasized that the school integrates the finest aspects of British education into a Nigerian framework, equipping students with a unique advantage for success as they progress to top universities worldwide.
“Our goal at Abuja World Academy is to establish a dynamic, supportive, nurturing, and, above all, safe educational atmosphere. We aim to promote inquiry-based learning and imbue students with ethical values to cultivate them into innovative and competent leaders on a global scale,” he stated.
Daly said that the school would be managed and operated by the United Kingdom OFSTED and accredited by the Regent School.

Our goal at Abuja World Academy is to establish the benchmark for education in the region. The inaugural cohort of students, starting in September 2024, will span from the Pre-Playgroup stage to Year nine.
“Ultimately, the school will cater to students from Early Years to Year 11, encompassing ages ranging from 18 months to 17 years old,” he explained.
Daly mentioned that the facilities are scheduled for completion by June 2024, in time for the commencement of the new academic year in September 2024. He emphasized the school’s commitment to delivering the Cambridge International curriculum, carefully designed to instill a robust set of ethical values in each student, in line with the school’s core values of responsibility, integrity, curiosity, and empathy.
Daly said that these values served as guiding principles, shaping the character, behaviour, and decision-making of the students throughout their academic journey and beyond.
He said that the students would be prepared not only for academic success but also to empower them to make positive contributions to their communities and the world at large.
