Infinix Mobile, a smartphone company has unveiled the Note 40 series on Friday and announced a partnership with Showmax, an online subscription video-on-demand service.
The announcement was made during the Infinix Note 40 series media event in Lagos on Friday. Mr Uche Michael, a Showmax representative, stated that the partnership with Infinix 40 series was the first in Africa.
Michael stated that the partnership involved bringing the English Premier League directly to the mobile device of the Note 40 series.
He also stated that Showmax was collaborating with Peacock, an international filming platform, to provide its subscribers with the best of both local and international content.

“Showmax is a tech company, and we considered several factors before deciding to partner with Infinix. One of these characteristics is that Infinix falls into the category of quality and affordability.
Oluwayemisi Ode, Infinix’s Integrated Marketing Communications and Public Relations Manager, stated when introducing the Note 40 series that it was another milestone and a glimpse into the future of technology.
Ode claimed that the products represented a significant advancement in all-round fast charge technology 2.0 while also being multifunctional.
” The phone is protected by Cornig ,R, Gorilla Glass and produces the desired results when used, regardless of the phone’s state.It also has safe battery usage,” she explained.
Ode went on to say that the Infinix Note 40 Pro and Infinix 40 could not be obtained through Easy Buy.
“We are not just launching a new product; we are setting a new standard for living in the digital age. With its 3D curved design, all-around FastCharge 2.0 technology powered by the self-developed Cheetah X1 chip, and innovative MagCharge accessory kit, the Note 40 series is designed to meet the needs of today’s mobile users.”
“All of these features, combined with our exclusive partnership with Showmax, provide our customers with not only a great device, but also an enriched lifestyle,” the Infinix spokesperson said.
Tobi Andonu, Infinix’s Digital Marketing Manager, also announced a creators’ challenge, with the winner receiving a Note 40 and the runners-up receiving other prizes.
