Wunmi Aloba, the wife of the late singer Mohbad has expressed her emotions as she prepares for her son Liam’s upcoming first birthday in a few weeks.
MohBad, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, was a talented Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter hailing from Lagos. He gained prominence through his association with Naira Marley’s Marlian Records before parting ways with the label in 2022. MohBad was celebrated for his chart-topping tracks such as “Ponmo,” “Peace,” “Beast and Peace,” “Sorry,” “Feel Good,” and the viral hit “KPK ,Ko Por Ke,” with Rexxie. His collaboration with Rexxie earned him three nominations at The Headies awards in 2022. Notably, on September 18, 2023, MohBad clinched the number 1 spot on TurnTable’s Official Artiste Top 100 chart.

Mohbad, the Afrobeats singer, passed away on September 12 at the age of 27. Wunmi shared on social media about the impact of his absence on her.Wunmi emphasized that no woman should experience the emotional turmoil she had endured. She wrote: “No woman deserves to endure this. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy. Liam will turn in a few weeks without his father. I miss my baby so much.”
