VeryDarkMan regains freedom from Police detention after nine-day ordeal

Popular Nigerian activist and social media personality, VeryDarkMan, has been released from police custody after spending nine days behind bars.

In a development celebrated by his supporters, VeryDarkMan regained his freedom late into Easter Sunday.

His release was facilitated by a team of dedicated lawyers, including Sowore, Kefiano, and Deji Adeyanju.

VeryDarkMan was arrested by police on the 22nd day of March 2024 for allegedly cyberbullying actress Tonto Dikeh.

@officialstelladimokokorkus, a blogger on Instagram, broke the news, which was verified by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, who commended Tonto Dikeh.

Doris Ogala also resorted to social media to wish Verydarkman a good stay in KiriKiri and praised Tonto Dikeh for detaining the critic.
