Turkey’s trade ministry announced plans to enforce trade limitations on Israel effective Tuesday, encompassing various products such as cement, steel, and iron construction materials.
This action is in response to Israel’s military operations in Gaza.
The ministry declared via social media that these measures will persist until Israel promptly declares a ceasefire and ensures the unimpeded and continuous delivery of humanitarian assistance into Gaza.
The new measures come a day after Turkey said Israel had blocked its attempt to airdrop aid to Gaza.
