Rangers International FC of Enugu on Sunday defeated Bendel Insurance FC of Benin 2-0 in the Week 37 of the Nigerian Premier Football League, NPFL.
The victory of the Rangers was recorded at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium ‘the Cathedral’, to take their points tally to an unassailable 68 points.
Remo Stars that were 2 points behind, fell 1-2 to Sunshine Stars in a South West derby, played in Akure.

Akiyikaye Adeleye was red carded in the 26th minute, for a second bookable offence. Meaning 3SC played for over an hour with 10 men.
The Oluyole Warriors eventually lost 1-2 despite taking the lead, through veteran forward, Christian Pyagbara in the same 26th minute.
Enyimba was also beaten 2-1 in Lagos, by Sporting FC and are now Head-to-Head with 3SC of Ibadan in the battle for 3rd place. The last spot for continental football next season.
