Edo State Governor-Elect, Monday Okpebholo, has announced the appointment of seasoned journalist Fred Itua as Chief Press Secretary, effective November 12, 2024, one day after his official assumption of office.

This appointment marks the first major designation under Okpebholo’s incoming administration.

With a distinguished career in journalism, including his recent role as Assistant Political Editor at The Sun newspaper, Itua brings a wealth of experience in public communication to his new position. His skills and dedication to journalism are expected to enhance the transparency and efficiency of the governor-elect’s administration as it embarks on its mandate for Edo State.
