A two-day high-level Export Capacity Building Workshop organised by the Manufacturers Resource Centre Ltd in collaboration with Success Africa & Other Continents Limited is scheduled to hold next week in Lagos.

The forum, tagged ‘Export by Sea, Road, and Air Made Easy – ECOWAS, AfCFTA, AGOA, UK’s DCTS, and Diaspora Markets’, is scheduled for next Wednesday and  Thursday at the MAN House Resource Centre Training Hall, in Ikeja, Lagos.

It is expected to feature expert consultants – the Global Head and Chief Executive Officer of Success African & other Continents Ltd, Gabriel Ekpo, and the Chief Executive Officer of Nouvelle Communications Ltd, Dr Steve Obidi – as facilitators.

The organisers said the export training targets existing and potential export-oriented business organisations and individuals who want to gain deeper insights and practical knowledge of export logistics, especially as it concerns the export of Non-oil Export Products to specific markets.

Non-oil Export remains one of Nigeria’s strategies for healing and survival, especially during the present economic downturn, though most exporters and export enthusiasts are not well-versed in the demands and processes of the business.

“Unfortunately, many export enthusiasts have burnt their fingers in the attempt to export their products and services because they are ignorant of how to navigate the process profitably.

“This workshop training will walk the participants through the labyrinth of export logistics processes, showing them the requirements, documentation, best options, prospects, and marketing techniques for export success and profitability,” the organisers promised.

They also urged members of the public to take advantage of the rare opportunity to build their capacity on profitable export business for their economic freedom, adding that the available seats for the event are limited.

Interested participants are expected to pay a fee of N200,000 covering workshop materials, tea break, and certificate of participation.
