A woman yet-to-be identified was hospitalized on Monday after a bus crashed into a building located in the Igando area of Lagos State.
The Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Damilola Oke-Osanyitolu, attributed the accident to the driver’s recklessness, which caused the vehicle to swerve and collide with the building.
In a statement, LASEMA detailed its response:

“By 7:21 a.m., the LASEMA Dolphin Response Team arrived at the scene, where a minibus with registration number LSD 474YA had been involved in a lone accident. Preliminary investigations confirmed that the driver’s recklessness led to the bus swerving off the road and crashing into a building.”
