Social media users have been reacting to the latest look of Grammy Award-nominated artist, Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake.
The singer, known for hits like Terminator, unveiled his new appearance on Sunday through a post on his verified Instagram account.
In the picture, Asake can be seen showcasing his new facial tattoos, which feature dollar signs and the word “Believe,” among other designs.
The new look has sparked mixed reactions online, with many fans expressing their dissatisfaction with the tattoos.
Some users have taken to social media to voice their opinions, including X user @ItsShola, who tweeted, “As a big fan of Asake who has never seen any wrong in him since he blew up; I’d just say this new tattoos didn’t enter. They don’t look good on him.”
Another user, @Abdurazaq64, wrote, “He is losing his mind.” Similarly, @it_Rutie commented, “Facial tattoo makes Asake look like a thief.”

Some fans have also criticized face tattoos in general, with @effizzzyy posting, “Face tattoos are not our culture. What’s happening to Asake fgs.”
Meanwhile, @Guccistarboi shared, “Those Asake tats are getting too much, he needs to slow down on em.” @ejiro_joshua1 also weighed in with, “What’s with all the earrings on the ear? I hope he’s not been initiated into Illuminati.”
The controversy surrounding Asake’s appearance comes just weeks after rumors of a fallout between him and his record label, YBNL, as well as its founder, Olamide.
The rumors began after Asake made changes to his Instagram profile, removing YBNL from his bio and unfollowing everyone, including Olamide.
As of now, neither Asake nor Olamide has confirmed or denied the claims of a split from the record label.
