Barcelona overturned an early deficit to defeat Real Madrid 5-2 in a thrilling Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday, securing a record-extending 15th title.
Real Madrid took the lead just five minutes in, as Kylian Mbappe finished a brilliant solo run with a precise strike inside the far post.
However, Barcelona responded quickly, leveling the score in the 22nd minute through Lamine Yamal.

Soon after, Robert Lewandowski converted a penalty to give Barcelona the lead.
The Catalan side extended their advantage with two first-half goals: Raphinha scored a sensational header in the 39th minute from a Jules Koundé cross, and Alejandro Balde added a fourth deep into stoppage time.
Just after the break, Raphinha netted again, making it 5-1.
Despite Barcelona being reduced to 10 men in the 56th minute when goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was sent off for a foul on Mbappe, Real Madrid could not capitalize, pulled one back for Madrid with a free-kick goal past substitute goalkeeper Iñaki Peña, but Barcelona held firm to clinch the victory and further extend their trophy count.
