Frustrated fans have expressed their discontent with Victor Osimhen and his Galatasaray teammates following a disappointing 1-1 draw against relegation-threatened Hatayspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

Despite Osimhen’s equalising goal, the match proved to be a setback for Galatasaray, who were expected to secure a victory against the struggling hosts on Friday night.

The game unfolded dramatically, with Hatayspor taking an early shock lead through Cemali Sertel’s goal in the 28th minute.

Galatasaray, sitting at the top of the league table, struggled to respond and had to wait until the second half to find their footing.

A penalty awarded after a VAR review allowed Osimhen to level the score in the 56th minute, as he calmly converted from the spot.

Nevertheless, the draw meant that Galatasaray dropped crucial points in the title race against bitter rivals Fenerbahce.

Galatasaray struggled to break down the relegation team.
In the aftermath of the match, fans took to the club’s social media account to vent their frustrations.

One fan lamented, “How can you draw with a team battling relegation? I don’t blame Una na Fenerbahce Adey blame unserious clubs.”

Some of the fans expected Osimhen to score more than the penalty.

Another sarcastically remarked, “Icardi in a wheelchair would carry this team.” Others expressed financial concerns, with one stating, “Very disappointing result for my investment,” while another added, “You made me lose my money; I will never bet on this swain team ever.”

Some fans even suggested foul play, with one declaring, “If this isn’t a fixed match I don’t know what it is.”

Despite the draw, Osimhen’s performance remains noteworthy. He has now scored 11 goals and provided four assists in just 14 matches for Galatasaray this season.

However, the frustration among fans is a reminder of the pressure on both him and the team as they aim to maintain their position at the top of the league amidst rising expectations.
