The Nigerian Police haS successfully neutralized the kidnappers who abducted Alhaja Sikirat Odumosu, the wife of former Assistant Inspector General, AIG, Hakeem Odumosu in Arepo, Ogun State.
During the operation in Ogun State, the police also retrieved the ransom requested for her release.

This was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who shared the update on his official X account on Thursday.
He mentioned that the IGP praised the efforts of the police operatives and CP Lanre Ogunlowo of Ogun State for their outstanding work.
“The IGP has commended the Police Operatives and CP Ogun State, Lanre Ogunlowo, for a good job. We are committed to safeguarding Nigerian citizens and our dear country, Adejobi said.”
Credible News recalls that the wife of the retired AIG, was kidnapped last Thursday at the entrance of her home in the Arepo area of Owode Local Government, Ogun State.
The kidnappers forcibly removed her from her Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle and took her through a swampy area to an undisclosed location.
