The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON has selected Max Air to transport pilgrims from Jigawa State for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
This was confirmed by Alhaji Ahmed Labbo, the Director-General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, in a statement issued by the Board’s spokesperson, Mr. Habibu Yusuf, on Thursday in Dutse.
Labbo stated, “NAHCON has officially appointed Max Air as the designated airline to transport Jigawa State pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj.”
He further explained that the decision came after a management meeting and the formal signing of agreements with airlines at NAHCON’s Abuja headquarters.

The Director-General expressed satisfaction with NAHCON’s preparations and reassured the public that all arrangements for the pilgrims’ journey are in place.
He also confirmed that the pilgrims’ travel bags and uniforms are now available for collection.
Labbo emphasized that the selection of Max Air underscores NAHCON’s commitment to ensuring safety, efficiency, and comfort for all pilgrims.
He also praised the leadership of Governor Umar Namadi for his ongoing support, which has significantly contributed to the board’s successful operations.
