A Navy Lieutenant, Cynthia Akora and two others abducted in Mpape, Abuja, have regained their freedom following a successful security operation.
The victims were kidnapped from their residence on Friday night, with the captors demanding ₦100 million in, ransom. Security operatives swiftly launched a coordinated effort to track the criminals and secure the hostages.
Sources within the security sector confirm that the rescue mission was executed without any ransom payment. Though the specifics remain classified, the operation was described as a strategic effort to neutralize the kidnappers’ activities and ensure the victims’ safe return.
