Nollywood actress, Opeyemi Aiyeola, has called out  Eniola Badmus, over a social media comment she described as offensive and insensitive.

Eniola  Badmus had questioned Aiyeola’s receding hairline in the comment section of one of her Instagram videos, asking, “Ope, where is your front hair?”. The remark did not sit well with Aiyeola, who responded in a lengthy Instagram post, describing Badmus as ignorant and lacking compassion.

The actress expressed deep disappointment that Badmus, who had once been a victim of body shaming, could make such a public remark. “You, Eniola, who have experienced the hurt and pain of body shaming, came under my video to make fun of me,” she said.

Aiyeola stated that Badmus had never supported her career on social media, rarely liking or commenting on her content. She questioned why someone who had never celebrated her would suddenly engage in mockery, calling it a reflection of Badmus’s character.

“You are ignorant. The only thing you have expressed is your ignorance. You’ve shown the entire world what you are made of,” she added. She also criticised Badmus for her public conduct despite holding political relevance and influence among Nigerian youth.

Aiyeola labelled Badmus “a zombie” with no conscience or heart, accusing her of making a public shame of herself. She warned that such behaviour reflects poorly on someone entrusted with public influence.

Despite the controversy, Aiyeola thanked her fans and supporters for showing concern about her hairline, affirming that she is proud of how she looks and surrounded by people who love her genuinely.

Thank you so much for the love. People who appreciate me for who I am, who love me just the way I am and how I look, no matter how far my head goes, no matter even if God forbid, tomorrow I lose this arm or I become so mega big. God bless you. I appreciate you’ she concluded.
