The Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre, NPF-NCCC, has declared Ihuoma Julia Nneji wanted for cybercrime-related offences.
A bulletin issued by the Office of the Inspector-General of Police stated that Nneji is wanted for alleged criminal defamation, injurious falsehood, and cyberstalking. She is the daughter of Frank Nneji, founder of ABC Transport.
Police sources said Nneji is accused of cyberbullying and blackmailing an Abuja-based businessman between August and September 2024. Her last known address was listed as Victoria Garden City in Lagos, and authorities have directed her immediate arrest.
The NPF-NCCC urged anyone with information on her whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact its headquarters in Abuja.
This development comes just months after Nneji filed a defamation lawsuit at the Federal High Court in Abuja against well-known social media controversial activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, internet personality Kemi Olunloyo, and legal practitioner Henry Ikenna Uzochukwu.
Nneji’s suit followed a series of online statements by the defendants, in which she was accused of misrepresenting her identity as a U.S.-based travel nurse, making allegations against her ex-husband, and undergoing cosmetic procedures including a Brazilian Butt Lift.

The ongoing legal battle has attracted considerable attention across social media platforms, with varied public reactions.
At the time of filing this report, neither Nneji nor her legal representatives had issued an official response to the police bulletin.
The police emphasized their commitment to tackling cybercrime, stressing that no individual is above the law. The case underscores growing concerns about the misuse of digital platforms for defamation, harassment, and falsehoods.
Meanwhile, legal experts say the unfolding situation could raise questions about online accountability and the fine line between digital expression and criminal conduct.
The NPF-NCCC said efforts to track the suspect are ongoing as part of its broader mandate to protect Nigerians from cyber-related threats.
