One person was killed and two others injured after a multiple-vehicle crash  in the early hours of Monday, the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Lagos Sector Command reports.

The incident took place at about 5:36 a.m. along the Tradefair–Agbara expressway , precisely at the Iyana Era Bus Stop.

Lagos Sector Commander Kehinde Hamzat confirmed the details in an official statement, revealing that the accident involved a commercial blue Mack truck with registration number AKD 579 XM and a silver Lexus saloon car with registration number LSR 545 JN.

Hamzat disclosed that, five adult males were involved in the crash. Preliminary investigations point to speed violation and loss of vehicle control as the primary causes, despite the road being in good condition.

The impact of the collision was fatal for one male occupant, while two others sustained various injuries.

He also reminded motorists to avoid speeding and maintain full control of their vehicles at all times, reinforcing the corps’ ongoing commitment to road safety enforcement and accident prevention across Lagos.
