Super Eagles captain and Nigerian football icon, Ahmed Musa, has married his fourth wife, Asmau Moriki, in a discreet ceremony held in Kano State.
The private wedding, which took place in May 2025, was attended by close friends and family members, away from the spotlight that often accompanies Musa’s public life.
This new union adds another chapter to Musa’s evolving personal journey, which has garnered considerable media attention over the years. Known for his pace on the pitch and his contributions to Nigerian football, Musa’s personal life has often paralleled his career in its dynamism.
Ahmed Musa’s marital history dates back to 2013 when he married his first wife, Jamila. The couple welcomed two children before parting ways in 2017. Reports at the time suggested that disagreements over his intention to take a second wife contributed to their separation.
Following his split from Jamila, Musa married Juliet Ejue, a native of Ogoja in Cross River State. Although the footballer rarely spoke publicly about this chapter, sources indicate that the relationship eventually ended, though the exact reasons and timeline were not disclosed.
In 2021, Musa made headlines once again when he married his third wife, Mariam. That marriage was publicized with more fanfare than his previous relationships, suggesting a more open approach at the time.
Now in 2025, Musa has once again opted for a more private approach, quietly wedding Asmau Moriki. Little is known about Asmau at this time, as neither Musa nor his representatives have shared further details about her background or how the couple met. The wedding, however, is said to have been warm, intimate, and devoid of unnecessary media buzz.

The footballer, who has often emphasized his faith and personal values in interviews, appears to be focused on maintaining a harmonious family life alongside his demanding career.
While polygamy remains a sensitive subject in public discourse, it is not uncommon in certain Nigerian communities, especially within Islamic culture, which Musa practices.
Fans and well-wishers have taken to social media to send their congratulations, with many praising the footballer for keeping his personal matters discreet. Others, however, have continued to express mixed reactions regarding his multiple marriages, reflecting the diverse views held within Nigerian society.
Despite the varying opinions, Musa remains a highly respected figure in Nigerian sports. His contributions to the Super Eagles and his philanthropic efforts off the field continue to earn him admiration. With this new marriage, the 32-year-old forward appears to be moving forward with his personal life on his own terms.
Neither Musa nor any of his close associates have released an official statement regarding the marriage, but sources close to the family confirm that both families are pleased with the union.
As Ahmed Musa begins this new chapter, many will be watching with interest—not just for his performances on the pitch, but also for how he continues to navigate the complexities of fame, faith, and family.
