Serie A champions Napoli have announced the signing of Dutch international Noa Lang from PSV Eindhoven, marking another bold step in their ongoing summer rebuild.
The club confirmed the acquisition in a brief statement on its website on Thursday, noting that the 26-year-old attacker has officially joined from the Dutch side.
“SSC Napoli announces that it has definitively acquired the registration of the player Noa Noell Lang from PSV Eindhoven,” the club said.
According to reports from Italian media outlets, the deal is valued at €25 million ($29 million), making Lang the second major player to depart PSV in a week, following Malik Tillman’s transfer to Bayer Leverkusen.
Lang, known for his pace, dribbling, and creativity, began his professional journey with Ajax before moving to Belgium where he starred for Club Brugge. Initially joining Brugge on loan in October 2020, Lang’s performances prompted a permanent switch by the following summer.
During his time at Brugge, Lang became a fan favourite and helped the club win back-to-back Belgian league titles. He then transferred to PSV in 2023, where he continued to shine. In his two seasons at the Dutch giants, Lang made 63 appearances across all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 14 assists. He also won two Eredivisie titles during his time there.
Lang has been capped 14 times for the Netherlands national team, scoring three goals and registering two assists for the Oranje. His flair and attacking instincts are expected to bolster Napoli’s front line, which is already undergoing major changes this summer.

Lang’s signing is the latest in a string of ambitious moves by Napoli as they look to build on last season’s success, when they clinched the Serie A title for the fourth time in their history. The club recently completed the blockbuster signing of Belgian playmaker Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City, the most expensive transfer in Italy this summer.
In addition, Napoli are in advanced negotiations with Udinese for Italy international striker Lorenzo Lucca, with the deal reportedly valued at €35 million. They are also pursuing Bologna’s Dutch defender Sam Beukema for an estimated €30 million.
To fund these big-money signings, Napoli are reportedly ready to part ways with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who is close to a €75 million move to Turkish champions Galatasaray. Osimhen played a key role in Napoli’s recent domestic triumph and his departure is expected to be one of the headline transfers of the summer.
Lang’s arrival underscores Napoli’s strategy of combining experience and youthful energy as they prepare for a challenging season ahead domestically and in Europe.
Fans are hopeful that these high-profile acquisitions will keep the club competitive at the highest level.
As pre-season training ramps up, Noa Lang is expected to join the squad shortly and begin integrating into Napoli’s tactical system under head coach Francesco Calzona.
His flair on the wings and ability to score and create chances could make him a vital asset in the club’s title defence.
