Popular aphrodisiac seller Hauwa Mohammed, widely known as Jaruma, has spoken about her romantic life, naming only two men she has ever dated.
In a video shared on X, Jaruma said she was once in a relationship with Cameroonian international football legend, Samuel Eto’o, and with a Nigerian vice president whose identity she chose not to disclose.
“I have only dated two men in my life, Samuel Eto’o, the international footballer, and a vice president. That vice president’s name cannot be mentioned because, if you do, they can wipe out your whole image from the face of the earth,” she stated.
Jaruma further compared Nigerian politicians to what she described as “spiritual husbands.”
“Nigerian politicians are like spiritual husbands. You cannot mention their names, even if they’ve been in your life,” she added.
The businesswoman explained that she decided to speak out because of lingering questions about her luxurious lifestyle before she began selling kayamata products.

“Before I even started selling kayamata, I was already living large. People kept asking how I could afford such an expensive lifestyle. The truth is, it was only these two men I dated in my whole life,” she said.
She went on to narrate that she studied in Istanbul, Turkey, and later lived in Dubai, experiences which she said shaped her encounters and choices.
Jaruma’s disclosure has stirred mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media. While some dismissed her claims, others demanded she name the former vice president.
