The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released surveillance photographs of a person of interest in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
A reward of up to $100,000 has been announced for information leading to an arrest.
Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was shot on September 10, 2025, during a speaking event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He died at the scene.
The images published by the FBI show a man wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with an American flag design, a dark cap, and sunglasses. One frame shows him walking up a stairwell.
Investigators describe the person as a male, college-aged, who attempted to blend in with students on campus.
The individual moved through stairwells to a rooftop roughly 200 yards from the outdoor stage where Kirk was speaking.

A single round was fired before the suspect fled the building by jumping from the roof and escaping through nearby woods and residential areas.
Law enforcement officers recovered a Mauser .30-06 bolt-action rifle wrapped in a towel in a wooded area near the campus.
The firearm contained one spent cartridge still chambered and three live rounds. Footwear impressions, a palm print, and forearm markings were collected from the rooftop position.
Forensic markings were found on some of the unspent cartridges. The FBI has not publicly linked those markings to any motive.
The person of interest remains unidentified and at large. Federal agents are urging the public to submit photographs, videos, or tips that may assist the investigation.
The FBI reward of $100,000 is available for information that leads directly to the identification and arrest of the shooter
