An explosion has occurred near the Tebijor, Okpele, and Ikporo communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State, as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC, Limited confirming the incident, which took place around 17:50 hours on Wednesday.
In a statement issued by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., Andy Odeh, the company explained that its initial field checks showed a pressure drop on an NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company pipeline located within the area.
