A disturbing incident has sparked outrage online after a family reportedly attacked medical personnel following the alleged disappearance of a newborn baby shortly after delivery at a hospital

The development was brought to public attention by a Facebook user identified as Vibrant Nifemi Vibrant, who shared a video capturing the tense moment family members confronted doctors and staff, demanding answers over the missing child.

According to the claims, the incident occurred at Tiltop Hospital, where a woman allegedly gave birth to twins. However, the hospital reportedly informed the family that she delivered only one baby, raising suspicions.

It was further alleged that multiple scans conducted during the pregnancy had confirmed the presence of twins, fueling accusations that one of the babies may have been unlawfully taken.

In his post, the source claimed that the situation escalated into chaos, with aggrieved family members attacking hospital staff while insisting that those on duty, particularly in the delivery room, should be held accountable.

He also disclosed that the matter has reportedly been transferred to the Idimu Police Station for further investigation.

The incident has since triggered widespread concern on social media, with many calling for a thorough probe into the allegations and greater accountability within the healthcare system. Authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding the claims.

Reacting one Quinn Victoria Ambrose wrote, “Women should insist their husbands or relatives should be in the labor room with them until the baby comes out. Whether it’s vaginal birth or CS.”

Mutyhullahi Adebayo Adesola commented, “The doctor is more daring. Is it possible for a pregnant woman who seeks service in a private hospital without a scan?”

Otunba Orisunmibare shared, “What stops the Hospital from allowing the husband to stay with the wife during labor.”

Ibrahim Olanrewaju Mustapha remarked, “I don’t know that this nonsense is still in existence, I will appreciate Vibrant Nifemi Vibrant if he gets to the bottom of the matter.”
