Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, Executive Chairman, Mr. Christopher Maikalangu has approved the immediate dissolution of the council’s executive cabinet and political appointees.
The directive is contained in a statement issued by Mr. Kingsley Madaki, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs to the Executive Chairman, on Wednesday in Abuja where the council boss said the directive takes immediate effect and the dissolution affects the Council Secretary, all Supervisory Councilors, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Personal Assistants.
Maikalangu further directed all affected officials to hand over all council properties and official documents in their possession to the Head of Administration, or the most senior career officers in their respective departments, without delay.

He expressed profound gratitude to the outgoing cabinet members and aides for their dedication, hard work, and selfless service toward the development of the council.
