Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his wife Chioma Adeleke, have acquired a new luxury residence in Atlanta, Georgia, further expanding the singer’s growing real estate portfolio across Nigeria and America.

A video showing the expansive property was shared by Davido on social media, attracting attention from fans who celebrated the latest addition to the couple’s assets. In the post, the singer captioned the video, “God has been good to us @thechefchi.”

The property, described as a multi-million-dollar luxury home, features seven bedrooms and sits on about 0.7 acres of land surrounded by extensive greenery. The mansion is reportedly valued at approximately $2.5 million.

The acquisition comes as Davido continues to invest heavily beyond music, building a portfolio of high-value properties in some of the most exclusive locations in Nigeria and the United States.

Davido, who holds both Nigerian and American citizenship, has become one of Africa’s most successful music exports, with a career spanning over a decade.

His commercial success through hit albums, global collaborations, sold-out concerts and endorsement deals has enabled him to diversify his wealth into luxury assets, including real estate.

Over the years, the singer has acquired properties in high-end neighbourhoods, including Banana Island in Lagos and developments within Eko Atlantic City, one of Nigeria’s most prestigious private urban projects.

One of his most notable investments is the ongoing construction of a luxury mansion in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos. The property sits on land reportedly acquired for about ₦4 billion in January 2024, with Davido later stating that the value of the land had appreciated significantly.

Reports indicate the planned residence is designed as a large family home with multiple floors dedicated to privacy and comfort.

Before his latest Atlanta acquisition, Davido was also associated with a luxury residence in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, one of Nigeria’s most exclusive residential locations.

Reports have also suggested that the singer has additional real estate interests within the neighbourhood, including land holdings, although the exact value of his overall Banana Island investments has not been independently confirmed.

The singer’s latest purchase  reflects a broader trend among African entertainers who have increasingly invested their earnings in global assets, particularly luxury homes in major cities where they spend significant time for business, family and international engagements.

Davido’s real estate expansion mirrors his evolution from a young Nigerian music star into a global entertainment figure whose investments extend beyond the stage.

As he continues to release music and expand his business interests, the singer’s property portfolio remains one of the most visible symbols of the financial success achieved by Nigeria’s Afrobeats generation.
