The Lagos State High Court has granted an interim order restraining Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin from publishing, broadcasting or making statements about actress Priscilla Ojo and her family on social media platforms.
The order was issued on September 2, 2026, by Justice Y.A. Adesanya following an application brought before the court by Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, her husband, Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son, Rakeem Mkambala.
The intervention comes amid concerns raised by the applicants over publications and editorials allegedly concerning members of the Mkambala family on social media.
According to the court document sighted online, the interim order specifically directs Lizzy Anjorin and individuals acting on her behalf or under her authority to stop broadcasting, publishing or posting editorials concerning the applicants across social media platforms.
The order covers the respondent’s agents, privies, representatives, employees, officers and any other person or group of persons acting under her authority.
It was stated that the respondent is to “cease and desist” from broadcasting, publishing and posting editorials about the applicants on her social media pages pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice in the suit.

The legal action was instituted by Priscilla Ojo, her husband and their son, who are identified in the court document as the applicants in the case.
The interim order does not represent the final determination of the substantive case, as the court is expected to hear and determine the Motion on Notice filed by the applicants.
Until the application is heard and determined, the order places restrictions on Lizzy Anjorin regarding publications and broadcasts concerning the Mkambala family on her social media platforms.
The development adds a legal dimension to the ongoing public attention surrounding the personalities involved, with the court now directing that publications covered by the order be halted pending further proceedings.
Justice Adesanya’s order, dated September 2, 2026, therefore means that Lizzy Anjorin and anyone acting under her authority are required to comply with the restrictions imposed by the court while the matter remains before the Lagos State High Court.
Further developments in the case are expected as the court considers the Motion on Notice and other applications that may arise during the proceedings.
