VeryDarkMan has reacted to the reported death of Blessing CEO’s second son, Bryan, while the social media personality remains in custody.
In a video posted following news of Bryan’s death, VeryDarkMan told Blessing CEO, whose real name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, that she had “a serious spiritual problem” and expressed hope that she would soon leave prison.
“Blessing CEO, you have a serious spiritual problem. I really hope you would come out of prison soon cos you need cleansing,” he said.
VeryDarkMan also questioned the level of public trust in Blessing CEO, saying her experiences as a public figure had reached a point where people no longer believed her.
“Do you know how bad your life is as a public figure that no one believes you anymore?” he asked.
He also criticised Blessing CEO’s association with IVD, linking the relationship to what he described as one of the problems in her life.
“One of your problems is your association with IVD cos how dare you think you’ll get away with following that kind of a man,” VeryDarkMan said.
His comments followed reports that Blessing CEO lost her second son, Bryan, while she remained in custody.
The report emerged through Amira Agiye, CEO of Isaamira Love Foundation, who appealed for support for Blessing CEO and said the influencer was grieving the loss of her child while still unable to leave custody.
A voice recording attributed to Blessing CEO also circulated online. In the recording, she said she lost Bryan while in custody and had not been able to pay her last respects to him.
“My second son Bryan was so full of life. I have not even had the opportunity to pay my last respect,” the voice said.
The reported cause of Bryan’s death has been linked to an asthma attack, although reports available on the development have not cited an independent medical or official confirmation establishing the cause.
The report of Bryan’s death has added a personal tragedy to the legal battles Blessing CEO has faced in recent months.
In late March, Blessing CEO announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and appealed to members of the public for financial assistance for treatment.

She later confirmed that she received about ₦13 million in donations.
Questions subsequently emerged over the medical document she shared as evidence of the diagnosis.
Deborah Mbara, a Delta-based makeup artist, alleged that the medical report belonged to her and had been altered.
The Delta State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association subsequently said Xinus Medical Diagnostics did not issue a cancer report to Blessing CEO and that the original report concerned Mbara.
The controversy later moved from social media to the courtroom.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arraigned Blessing CEO before the Federal High Court in Lagos on June 10, 2026, over a six-count charge connected to an alleged ₦13 million cancer donation fraud.
The EFCC alleged that donations were obtained through false representations and that documents used to support the fundraising were falsified.
Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Her cancer-related case also came alongside separate legal proceedings.
On June 9, she was arraigned before the Lagos State Special Offences Court over an alleged ₦69.15 million property fraud.
She again pleaded not guilty.
Blessing CEO was subsequently remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Centre following her arraignment in the cancer-related case, pending the perfection of her bail conditions.
She said she had already spent 26 days in EFCC custody before authorities transferred her to the correctional center.
Despite her detention, Blessing CEO continued to address her followers and maintained her innocence in the cases against her.
She described the cancer case as one of the charges against her and told her followers that she remained optimistic about emerging from the legal battle.
The latest development has now placed her son’s reported death at the center of public attention, with Blessing CEO still unable to leave custody to mourn Bryan and pay her last respects.
VeryDarkMan’s reaction has also added another dimension to the widespread discussion surrounding the tragedy, as he focused on Blessing CEO’s personal circumstances, her association with IVD and what he described as the spiritual problems affecting her life.
