Qatar Airways said that it has temporarily suspended flights to and from the Saudi Arabian cities of Riyadh and Dammam following deadly Houthi attacks on Saudi airports.
The suspension followed Houthi attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyahd and King Fahd International Aiport near Dammam.
A Houthi strike on Riyadh airport on Saturday killed 12 people and injured 309 others, according to Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation.
“Due to the current situation, flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam are temporarily suspended,” the airline said in an updated travel advisory on Monday.

It urged passengers to check their flight status through its official website or mobile application.
The airline said that further updates would be provided through its website but did not specify when services to the two Saudi cities would resume.
Other airlines which have also suspended their services include The United Arab Emirates’ Ethihad Airways, Bahrain’s Gulf Air, EgyptAir and Kuwait Airways.
Since October 5, five Saudi airports have been targeted in 10 Houthi attacks, killing 20 people and injuring hundreds.
The attacks have also caused material damage and disrupted air traffic.
