Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, celebrated their traditional wedding in Lagos on Saturday, October 24, in a ceremony attended by prominent figures from the entertainment industry.
The celebration, held in Oniru, brought together musicians, actors, influencers, businesspeople, family members and friends to witness the couple’s union. Singer Davido, one of Zlatan’s close friends, served as a groomsman.
Other personalities reported at the wedding included Fuji musician K1 De Ultimate, actress Iyabo Ojo, singers Phyno and Teni, comedian Carter Efe, influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Berri Tiga, Seyi Vodi and music executive Soso Soberekon.
Traditional fashion and cultural heritage featured prominently in the ceremony, with Zlatan and Davita showcasing two coordinated outfits inspired by their backgrounds.
For their first traditional look, Davita wore a burgundy gown decorated with red beadwork, coral necklaces and a traditional Okuku headpiece. Zlatan complemented her in a cream outfit featuring red beadwork, coral accessories and a traditional cap. The coordinated ensembles highlighted Edo-inspired bridal styling.
The couple later changed into a second set of outfits celebrating Zlatan’s Yoruba heritage.
Davita wore a custom lemon-yellow ensemble by Mazelle Bridal, featuring a structured bodice, long sleeves with flared cuffs and mint-green floral appliqué. She completed the outfit with a matching gele, green jewellery and a mint-green clutch.

Zlatan wore a matching mint-green agbada by the same designer, paired with a coordinated fila cap, layered white beads and a carved green walking stick. Goodnews Emmanuel Icon styled the couple’s second look.
The two outfit changes brought Edo and Yoruba influences into the celebration, with coral accessories and traditional headwear complementing the later pastel-coloured ensembles.
The wedding also drew attention through the participation of entertainers and social media personalities, many of whom shared congratulatory messages and updates from the occasion.
Davido’s role as a groomsman was among the notable highlights, while guests included several musicians and content creators familiar to Nigerian entertainment audiences. Reports also identified musical performances by Teni and the Urban Choir as part of the celebration.
Zlatan and Davita announced their wedding date earlier in October through a social media video tagged #DTTheUnion. The couple, who have been together for several years, have two sons.
The traditional wedding marked another milestone in their relationship, combining family celebration, entertainment and the display of Nigerian cultural attire.
