South-West traditional rulers, led by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, are set to meet with Yoruba nation activist and founder of Iru Ekun Security Network, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, to discuss security in the region.

The meeting, which is scheduled to take place in Ijero Ekiti, Ekiti State, on Friday, will be hosted by the Owa Ajero of Ijero Ekiti, Oba Adebayo Adewole.

A statement forwarded to The PUNCH by Igboho’s media office indicated that the stakeholders’ meeting would discuss critical issues, including security in Yorubaland and how to sustain the prevailing peace and communal stability in the South-West region.

The statement read, “This crucial meeting to be graced by all monarchs from Oyo, Lagos, Ondo, Osun, Ekiti, Ogun, and parts of Kwara State will be presided over by the Co-Chairman of National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, who also doubles as the Permanent Chairman of Southern Nigerian Traditional Rulers Council.
