The Ondo State House of Assembly Speaker, Olamide Oladiji, has urged the state resident to intensify prayers for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu quick recovery.
Oladiji made the plea during a special prayer organised for Akeredolu at Saint Andrew Cathedral Church in Owo, the governor’s home town.
While urging the people not to despair, the speaker appealed that rumours being peddled around about the state of health of the governor should be stopped.
Recall that there have been speculations over the state of the health of the governor, with the situation creating tension in the state.
Oladiji, popularly known as “Landmark,” and his deputy, Akinruntan Abayomi; Ogunmolasuyi Oluwole (majority leader); and Tosin Ogunlowo (Deputy Majority Leader) were present at the prayer session.
Others at the event were Raymond O. Daudu (Deputy Minority Leader) and Victor Japheth (Deputy Chief Whip), among others.
