The family of Olatunji Disu, Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, is mourning a devastating loss following the death of his adopted son in a tragic car accident on Monday.

This heartbreaking incident has left Disu and his loved ones in deep sorrow. Sources close to the family have described the tragedy as a shocking and unbearable loss. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear at this time.

Disu, who recently assumed leadership of the FCT Police Command, is known for his dedication and professionalism.

The news of his adopted son’s passing has prompted an outpouring of condolences and support from colleagues, friends, and members of the public.

Many have taken to social media and other platforms to express their sympathies and solidarity with the grieving family.

In a related development, CP Disu on Monday visited CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer of Ushafa Division, who also lost his son in a tragic incident.

During the visit, Disu expressed his heartfelt sympathies and assured CSP Sambo and his family of the unwavering support of the FCT Police Command during this difficult time.

The back-to-back losses have highlighted the fragility of life and the importance of community support during periods of tragedy. Both families are receiving messages of hope and comfort from well-wishers across the country.

As the police community mourns these losses, the Command has urged members of the public to respect the privacy of the families involved while they navigate through this painful period.
