The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, announces that the 280-bed multi-specialist general hospital project in Ojo Local Government Area will be completed by the end of 2025.
Sanwo-Olu made this statement during his working visit to the site on Tuesday in Lagos.
He expressed confidence that the hospital would be fully operational by the close of the year.

The governor described the facility as a comprehensive healthcare center, featuring modern amenities such as a central laboratory and accommodations for medical personnel, among others.
“This massive infrastructure spans over six hectares of land, it has full outpatients’ services, medical diagnosis, accident and emergency and everything you can expect in a specialist hospital will be available here.
“It also includes 280 bed accommodations across four different verticals, along with auxiliary facilities like a large restaurant and central laboratory services.
“It includes 64 flats for medical staff, in both three-bedroom and one-bedroom units, with four residential blocks.
“We are at the Ojo General Hospital, which will be a multi-specialist hospital, the largest in Lagos West Senatorial District.
“This will be an all-encompassing complex, a place where people can live, work, and receive medical care.
“We aim to have the keys handed over before the year ends, making this facility operational. I thank the Oniba and all other traditional institutions,” he said.
Sanwo-Olu called on all local stakeholders to support the state government in completing the project, which he believes will significantly improve the community and revitalize residents’ lives.
The governor also participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Platinum Shopping Complex on Iyana Iba Road, Ojo, Lagos.
