Former President Muhammadu Buhari has restated his unwavering commitment to the All Progressives Congress, APC declaring that he remains a dedicated and loyal member of the party.

In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, Buhari dismissed any speculation about his political allegiance, stressing that he would never turn his back on the platform that secured his two-term presidency.

“I am an APC member and I like to be addressed as such. I will try to popularise the party by all means,” he stated.

The former president emphasized that his political journey would always be tied to the APC, expressing deep gratitude for the support he received before and during his tenure. He described his time in office as the highest honor and made it clear that he is not seeking any personal gains.

Buhari also highlighted the sacrifices made by the party’s founding fathers in building a strong political structure that upholds democracy and the constitution. He urged members to remain steadfast in preserving and nurturing the party’s core values.

His declaration comes amid ongoing discussions among party leaders at various levels, reinforcing his stance as a committed APC member. While staying away from active politics, Buhari pledged to do everything within his capacity to strengthen and promote the party.
