Galatasaray vice president Abdullah Kavukcu has disclosed that five of the world’s elite clubs are vying for the signature of striker Victor Osimhen, who will decide his future in April.
Osimhen, currently on loan from Napoli, has been a standout player for the Turkish side, with Kavukcu noting that the Nigerian forward “loves” Galatasaray.
While he did not rule out a permanent move to the Super Lig club, he emphasized that top-tier clubs across the globe are closely monitoring the 26-year-old’s situation.
Kavukcu also stated that Osimhen’s decision will be made next month.
Speaking to Sport Mediaset, Kavukcu said: “Osimhen will announce his future plans in April. Right now, five of the world’s top clubs are interested in him.
His arrival here was a dream come true—he’s here, and at the moment, he’s playing with us. There was speculation about a transfer in January, but he chose to stay.

He is very fond of Galatasaray. At the moment, he is the target of all our rivals. While we are focused on securing the title, we haven’t yet had direct talks with Victor. There’s no need to discuss it now.
Galatasaray is a top-tier club—otherwise, Victor wouldn’t have joined. A permanent stay at Galatasaray isn’t as impossible as some might think.”
Osimhen, who has been one of the most sought-after strikers in recent years, has attracted interest from top clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal.
However, his immediate future remains with Galatasaray. A summer transfer battle for his signature could be on the horizon.
Meanwhile, Osimhen is expected to feature for Nigeria in their World Cup qualifier against Rwanda on Friday.
