President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the country will overcome its current difficulties and emerge stronger and more united.

In his message at Easter, Tinubu urged citizens to remain hopeful, united, and resolute in the collective pursuit of national progress.

The President gave the assurance  where he extended warm greetings to Christians in Nigeria and across the world as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Tinubu emphasized that Easter, which marks the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, remains the foundation of the Christian faith and offers a powerful reminder of the triumph of light over darkness and hope over despair.

“I heartily felicitate Christians in Nigeria and worldwide as they commemorate Easter, the celebration of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection—the cornerstone of the Christian faith,” he stated.

He called on Nigerians to draw inspiration from the enduring values associated with the Holy Week, which spans Palm Sunday through Good Friday and culminates on Easter Sunday. These values, he said, include sacrifice, redemption, love, faith, and hope.

“As President of our blessed nation, I draw inspiration from this timeless message of hope and renewal. I remain steadfast in my commitment to delivering the promise of a Renewed Hope—a better, more just, and prosperous Nigeria for all,” Tinubu affirmed.

The President acknowledged the economic and security challenges currently confronting the country but assured that with faith, determination, and unity, Nigeria will prevail.

“There is no obstacle we cannot overcome,” Tinubu declared, urging Nigerians to remain resilient and to believe in the nation’s capacity to succeed.

He also prayed for peace in every Nigerian home and across the country, asking that the risen Christ bless the nation with prosperity, stability, and continued unity.

“May the risen Christ bless our homes with peace and our nation with continued unity and prosperity. Happy Easter to all my fellow Nigerians,” he concluded.
