President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will embark on a two-day official visit to Katsina State on Friday, where he is expected to engage in a range of strategic and ceremonial activities.
The visit was confirmed in a statement issued on Thursday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
During his stay, President Tinubu will hold high-level meetings with local leaders and security stakeholders to evaluate the current security landscape and chart a path forward for lasting peace in the state.

In addition to addressing security concerns, the President will inaugurate two major infrastructure projects: the newly completed 24-kilometre dual carriageway and the state-of-the-art Katsina Agricultural Mechanisation Centre, both executed under the administration of Governor Dikko Umar Radda.
The president will also attend a private social event — the wedding ceremony of Governor Radda’s daughter — before returning to the nation’s capital, Abuja.
This marks another leg in the President’s ongoing nationwide engagements aimed at strengthening governance, boosting development, and reinforcing national unity.
